FANDOM: D.Gray-Man
TIMELINE PERIOD: Chapter 149

BACKGROUND:Miranda never exactly 'fit in'. Her entire life, she was out casted because the poor girl could never seem to do a single thing right. Even as a child, she was teased and taunted because she was clumsy, and was not good at anything. Miranda was lonely and had no friends. This led to her fondness for rejected items. She would collect discarded toys and stitch them back together because she could relate to them; they were rejects, and so was she.

This went on Miranda's whole life. But as she got older, it seemed to get a little harder to put up with. She would find a job, and in days, sometimes even hours, be fired again. She couldn't keep a single job. Miranda was just hopeless at it all, it seemed.

But eventually, she found something that made her feel wanted. An old clock that was to be disposed of at an antique store. The owner claimed when he put the key in, it just wouldn't turn. It was broken. "See for yourself," the store owner said. When she put the key in, it turned. The old clock would only work for unlucky Miranda. Hopeful, and feeling like this clock understood her misery, she kept it.

This is when the town in which Miranda lived began acting weird. One single day would repeat itself. She would go to bed, and the next day, it would be morning of the same day. It kept happening over and over, the day would not stop repeating. To make matters worse, only Miranda was noticing. No one believed her when she said the day was repeating. It got to the point where she knew every detail that would happen, because it already happened so many times. Miranda was slowly being driven insane. Until finally, something different happened in her rewinding town. On the 30th repeat, she was attacked by an Akuma, and saved by a boy she'd never seen before. Rejoicing, she ran away in search of a newspaper to see if the day had finally changed. It hadn't. But something new happened, and she took that as a good sign and proceeded to follow Allen Walker.

After some investigation, it was discovered that the clock Miranda had taken in had innocence embedded in it, and she was the accommodator. So Allen and Rinali decided maybe it would stop repeating the same day over and over if Miranda didn't feel useless anymore. The clock only stopped rewinding time when Road kidnaped her. After the fight with Road, she decided she would be an exorcist, too, because it seemed to be something she could succeed in.

Miranda trained at the Black Order HW to learn how to use her innocence and she isn't seen again until she is sent to replace Allen Walker on the mission to find General Cross, after Allen was attacked by Tyki Mikk. She used her innocence to protect those on the ship while keeping it in one piece when they fought akuma on their journey.

Miranda assists during the invasion on HQ, temporarily preventing the Akuma egg from being seized by Lulubell, and bought everyone time to destroy it. She was nearly killed by Lulubell, but luckily, she was saved.

Miranda's current whereabouts are unknown. She fell into a giant crater caused by the level Four Akuma invading headquarters.
